Something is eating my pumpkins:
Squirrels, I assume. But, given my previous post, perhaps something more ominous? Regardless, this is scarier than anything I could have carved myself.

Our (now departed) dog used to eat the jack o lanterns every year, at first it really was creepy because there would be big chunks missing, or the lids or some weird thing. Finally, one day (cue spooky music) I walked onto the porch (dun da dah!) and caught him red pawed, munching away. He looked at me with that "What!" look- mystery solved...

I've seen squirrels go at pumpkins with gusto. I'd put my money on them varmints.
